We have visited Bhutan in July with the Kincho Tours & Travels. Bhutan is truly an amazing place, with its beautiful landscape and magical atmosphere. At first we had some doubts about the season, since July is not high season in Bhutan. However the weather was perfect, not so hot, not rainy at all. Kincho offers various types of tour packages. We have booked the cultural tour. Our guide Jamyang was very kind and caring like a friend. His deep knowledge about Buddhism and the history of Bhutan was a great asset for us. Usually tour guides have a text of things they are supposed to mention, Jamyang was fully responsive to my questions and we even made theological debates. He even taught us to meditate on top of a temple. In the cultural tour, we visited Paro, Punakha and Thimphu, lots of temples and so on. We were able to modify our tour package according to our choices. For instance we have visited a brewery and a bar in the city due to our preferences. The food we were offered by tour was amazing, definitely top class dining. And the hotels were relatively nice. On a separate note, I have to mention Sonam, the owner of the Kincho Tours. He met us several times during the tour and hosted dinner and farewell party for us. I am quite impressed to see that the owner of the tour company takes care of every customers individually. Our experience in Bhutan was a lifetime thing, and we are looking forward to go there again. I would recommend the Kincho Tours for anyone, they were more than a professional company and they truly cared that you enjoy your holiday.
